Zum Strandkorb Cafe & Restaurant in Nordstrand

Today we ate again before the log-down light in the "Zum Strandkorb" in Holmersiel on Nordstrand 🍽🍺👌🤗! It was perfect !!! We thank Sven and his nice team for the great hospitality and wish all the best for the coming time!

Super delicious food, great price / performance ratio and very friendly and courteous staff

We were welcomed in a very hospitable manner and led to a richly set breakfast table. The offer was varied, fresh and really tasty! We didn't miss anything. The cozy atmosphere and the view of the water put the icing on the cake. We'll be back!

Super delicious food and very nice staff. The corona hygiene regulations are also all implemented, which is not the case everywhere. Unfortunately we didn't manage to try the delicious cakes but we will definitely be back.

Had a super delicious fish plate beach chair warm! Even the fries from the junior were first class, I think they were fried in clarified butter. Kudos to the kitchen

Nice little café in a good location right on the dike. You can sit outside in beach chairs or comfortably inside. Our dog was also allowed. I especially liked the cakes, which were really delicious and filling. The service is friendly and there are nice souvenirs. We would love to come back.

Picked up food for four people (burger, potato pancakes and currywurst) - great snack quality! I am happy to recommend. On the second visit, cakes and cappuccino were tested on site and found to be very good. Waiter nice and on the ball. If I'm in the area again, I'll stop by for a piece of cake in the afternoon and take a fish sandwich with me for dinner. PS: dog-friendly. :)

Delicious cakes and pies with a wonderful view of nature. Perfect for a break after walking along the dike.

Very chic and lovingly prepared. The food was very good, although I think it's a little too expensive but you can afford something when you're on holiday.

I've been there a lot now and it always tastes good. The homemade cakes and potato pancakes with salmon are very tasty

On the second visit it was again very nice and delicious. The cake was a poem and the kids loved the fries and chicken sticks. On our next vacation we will come back to feast 🍀

If clean toilets are not an independent option for a restaurant, what then?

A lovely little restaurant with personality. You are always greeted nicely, no matter how crowded it is. The food is excellent at moderate prices and the cakes are awesome! Whether a small snack or a cozy meal - everything is possible. Events such as Easter breakfast or New Year's soup day is great and is lovingly implemented with a lot of effort. Now in the Corona times I often pass wistfully on the way to swimming or a dog lap, but the times come again when I / we are back more often. Corona can't annoy us forever!

We were there because of the many positive reviews, but we couldn't understand a single one. The atmosphere is uncomfortable, the furnishings are like a train station snack bar, and there are banned posters everywhere and tourists can buy kitsch junk. The prices are totally inadequate for the quality of the food. In terms of taste on the level of a fries stall. You can't go wrong with a beer on the "terrace". If you like unpretentious food, you've come to the right place. The service was nice and friendly.

Delicious food, very friendly conditions and exemplary payment options! You can even reserve a table using your smartphone. Unfortunately, at many other localities on Nordstrand only cash payments are possible. This is not up to date.

We were here for breakfast, absolutely perfect, everything your heart desires, scrambled eggs made fresh, a large selection of cheese and sausage, crab and salmon, some fruit, a great strawberry cream with whole strawberries. Super service, very nice boss, price Achievement agree here 100%. We have registered again for breakfast, without a registration quite difficult. An absolute must here for breakfast.

Idyllic spot with delicious food. In the evening we sat on the terrace overlooking the nature and the water, watched the geese and swallows and leaned back in the beach chair. Then the dishes came and they were really very well presented and tasted very good. The service was super friendly, we felt really comfortable.
